Well from what i heard from people in my group that saw you while i was gettin ready for pit for our prep you guys are really good and we were worried about you guys in finals. Apparently you and Lincoln East were really close an frm what i saw of them on tv they were spectacular. i still really wish i could've seen your show after what you put up on youtube of your group i was really excited.
I was really surprised Davenport beat out GINW, good job, both of your shows were really good, all of the groups were (I missed East and Bella Voce but they must have been good to be where they were)
I really liked what Southwest did with the stage in the gym but it should be moved closer up next time with a little more space on the sides and for the band. Hopefully some more top groups around the midwest know how great of competition this is and join in with the great groups that were there this year. With the good setup and great people running this competition, more groups would make it even better.
anybody know anything about the pointspread? for both prelims and finals? the only thing i know is that for prelims there was only a 3 point difference between us and GINW

lol i cant say i was expecting it either.. all of the groups there were truly outstanding and finals really couldve gone to anybody. With timing and all i only got to see Norris but i watched GINW on a tv and they both really were great groups. and sorry allie, i didnt get a chance to see gish.. really wanted to tho! Anyway congrats to everyone on a great competition and Davenport West, minus us seniors , will be back next year for round two! with me in the audience

No one from Westside made a comment like that, and if you read the comment a bit closer you would realize he was refering to the show choirs don't show everything that Nebraska has in term of what they offer.

This is definitely fact.. I wish some Omaha Schools went to that competition to truly shed light on all Nebraska Schools.. GINW, Norris, GISH don't really show everything.. I agree all three are truly amazing, but if like ATSC showed up, it would be amazing.. and WIG isn't horrible either.. I like Omaha Norths show's usually... Wish I could come watch it this year.. but alas.. I am stuck at college!!

ATSC has attended the Southwest Showdown for the past several years but this year chose to attend Troy's competition.
