Predictions:

GC - Waubonsie (Sweep)
1RU - Glenwood
2RU - Wheaton North
3RU - Buffalo Grove
4RU - Carmel
5RU - Madison Central

1RU and 2RU could easily flip - they have gone back and forth this year. Buffalo Grove always brings a strong show. I think Carmel's biggest issue is just getting back into the swing of things after a year off and new (albeit very good) directors. They will continue to improve and probably become a major contender in the future. This will be a very good competition.

Can someone post the junior high/middle school division schedule/lineup on the March 6 page?

If I remember correctly Waubonsie, Wheaton South, and Waconia were all extremely close (and all extremely phenomenal) at Milton earlier in the season. Obviously Waubonsie had time to improve their show but I don't think it will be an overwhelming victory by Waubonsie. However they can still sweep with just being 1 point ahead in each category! Wish I could make it down to this competition to see all the amazing talent.

I think things will be a lot closer that some people are predicting. I'm betting Waubonsie wins, but not by much. Also, I think Waubonsie won't sweep.

Crazy Predictions--
GC: Waubonsie
1RU: Carmel (vocals)
2RU: Glenwood (visuals)
3RU: Buffalo Grove
4RU: Wheaton North
5RU: Madison Central

I'll add--I haven't seen any of these shows live

Predictions:
GC: WV (Sweep)
1RU: BG
2RU: Glenwood
3RU: Carmel
4RU: Wheaton North
5RU: Madison Central

This is truly going to be a competition for 2nd place as Waubonsie in my opinion is unbeatable this year. After a loss to Wheaton North, Glenwood will be out ready to win, but I believe BG's vocals will put them in the number 2 spot.
I wouldn't be surprised if Carmel comes out and surprises everyone at this competition. Overall, this will be a close competition for 2nd with WV in the lead by many points.

Right. I haven't seen either group, so I was just going off the captions won H2H.

And I MISSSSSSSS groups just doing fun happy shows. That is my thing. That is something I will always endorse.

I'm SO tempted to come to Chicagoland haha

Only groups in the mixed division

I'm pretty sure women's groups can make finals as well, there just aren't separate finals.

It looks to me like North sings better and Glenwood dances better (maybe better show design??) so it should be very close again!

There's no doubt Wheaton N sings better, but that doesn't mean Glenwood doesn't sing well. WN just has a very mature sound that you don't often hear. But they can wail too. Their soloists just keep coming. It's very impressive.

Their show design is great and something more show choirs should consider...a happy and uplifting show. No gimmicks. Glenwood is the same on that page. Just a great happy show with quality singing and dancing.

Don't forget Wheaton N has won a choreo caption this year. Their dancing isn't lacking that's for sure. Great choreography from Stephen Todd and They're dancing it well.

Bottom line, make sure you're in the gym to watch Wheaton N and Glenwood and decide for yourself. Wouldn't be surprised if the top 4 here will be within 1 point of each other.

I have only seen these two groups live this season that will be at chicagoland so I don't have much more to say about any of the predicted finals groups. But I can't wait to see them all!

This competition will be the fourth time they have met this year. Glenwood leads 2-1.
