What a great day of show choir!

I was told that the top 3 groups from last night all had 1s, 2s, and 3s from the judges. Just goes to show how super close it really can be when it comes down to it. Does anyone know the results?

Correct. St. Francis had two firsts, Roosevelt had two, and O'Gorman had one.

Best Vocals was a tie between St. Francis and O'Gorman. The tie was broken with day round scores which O'Gorman had the highest, therefore awarding them the Best Vocals caption.

All the shows were a delight to watch! Show Choir in South Dakota is STRONG! Everyone should be proud.

I ended up not being able to go due to family issues but I'm really sad I missed out! Go SD choirs! I had a friend text me results and how the shows were and he agreed with things for the most part! He thought that St. Francis should've had vocals and he said it was a complete toss-up between st. francis and roosevelt for which one he thought should've won. Congrats to every group here! I hope ClaCo had a fantastic performance! They normally do

I want to give a shout out to all of the groups yesterday. Minnesota, Nebraska, Iowa, and South Dakota all were represented in the best way possible.

I also want to praise Sioux Falls for having such a rich show choir community. Members from each group are friends, hang out outside of show choir competitions, and cheer each other on. It's great that 3 out of the 4 high schools in town connect through show choir. Washington, O'Gorman, & Roosevelt are helping make a positive name for South Dakota. #SiouxFallsStrong

Natural Selection and Classic Connection: What a wonderful competition you hosted!

Best female Soloist- O'Gorman High School "Ovation" (Alyse Brown)

Best male Soloist- Roosevelt High School "Executive Suite" (Soleil Bashale)

Please add these to the awards. Thanks!

1 member of each show choir in finals also got an "Outstanding Performer" award.

After seeing Roosevelt and O'Gorman yesterday, in my opinion, St. Francis should take Best Vocals pretty easily.

Lofonza have you seen that St. Francis got third at Hastings where Roosevelt didn't make finals?

I see that showqhoir. So I can totally see them winning over roosevelt. But I can see totally see O'Gorman and Roosevelt fighting for that 1st runner up spot.

My predictions for finals:
St. Francis "Bridge Street Singers"
Aberdeen "Eagle Express"
Roosevelt "Executive Suite"
O'Gorman "Ovation"
Groton "Prismatic Sensations"
Spirit Lake "Music Factory"

I'm not making any awards predictions because it can go anyway between Aberdeen, Roosevelt, and O'Gorman considering the way they've been coming out of finals. But I feel it will be between Roosevelt and O'Gorman, they may not necessarily win, but those 2 are going to fight it out for any placement. Those are probably the 2 schools who are going head to head at this competition.

I'm guessing after yesterday this will put a fire underneath O'Gorman and Aberdeen to step it up. It's been an unpredictable season for South Dakota show choirs thus far!!

Roosevelt, O'Gorman and Aberdeen will be competing against one another three weeks in a row (first being yesterday)!

I totally agree with you Derek. Between those 3 groups, all 3 competitions could have any results.

Considering Roosevelt beat O'gorman and Aberdeen as of 5 minutes ago, my money's on them to win! But I also feel Bridge Street singers are also going to bring it so it's between those 2 groups!
