So happy for Xuberance! Incredible job done, great job beating Protege, I don't know for certain but that might be the first time that has ever happened.
Notes for varsity, I heard that Prairie revived a time penalty in day rounds. Also in finals, Xavier received 3 3 3 4 4 from the judges, but apparently one judge had West in first, which bumped them ahead of Xavier.

Correction: Pella finished in the top 5 overall during daytime, which meant that the 2nd place 3A school also advanced to finals.

Yes true but the judges were also running late after lunch. Anamosa was set and ready they had to go back off stage cause there were no judges

I believe this is the 20th anniversary for Benton's Touch of Class Invitational. I remember being at one of the very first years, and thinking "this competition is so well run and organized..." And that remains true to this day.

We are looking forward to celebrating the 20th anniversary this weekend, and I hear there is a special guest emcee this year who should keep us all entertained!
