I wish this link still worked. That lineup is insane.

There are videos from the event on youtube, at least Attache, Burroughs, Eisenhower, and Marysville. I have the DVD from that competition that I think I put onto digital files. I can share them with you if you would like

The DVDs are actually different from what was shown on the livestream; Tri-State productions shot footage for the DVDs separately from the showchoir.com crew, though we both shared the audio feed from the house mixing board. You can see a sample clip of Clinton from the live stream performance here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CIXyM3ZStQg

Our cameras were in totally different places so the video has a different feel, but one cool thing is that the live feed was captured entirely in 4K, which was one of the first times this had ever happened in show choir (I'm fairly certain the very first was two years prior when we shot the finals at FAME Chicago). Both versions are great for their own reasons and are worth seeking out!

Hey just wondering
if any of you that purchased the DVD... How is the quality? Is it HD?
Who is selling it ..? How much ? Contact info?
any info would help

Tri-State Productions sells the DVD. It is on there website. And it is one of the best quality show choir DVDs I have. There is no HD I'm pretty sure... Except the stuff Haakon is putting on YouTube.

I'll be getting the HD videos up soon... the Oprah site redesign kinda pre-empted me.

Please fix the problems with this forum. I just spent twenty five minutes typing up a full critique of the competition from daytime to finals, and it was not posted because it said I was not logged in. This has happened numerous times, and it is very aggravating.

Thank You

And after that loss I will make an abbreviated version of my previous critique

My daytime placements:

GC: Clinton
1RU: John Burroughs
2RU: Center Grove
3RU: Marysville
4RU: Lawrence Central

No 5RU b/c EEE was not up to par in finals. Also did not see Piqua or Colerain. Heard many say that Piqua would receive last finals spot. Believed Colerain would be in the running because they beat Marysville earlier in the season. Sorry to see Piqua get such an early slot, but they performed amazingly as evidenced on YouTube. Not impressed with Clinton and JB during daytime, could tell that they were not performing to full ability. Top three so close after daytime that my predictions could have gone any way, but felt this was most appropriate.

My finals placements:

GC: Center Grove
1RU: Clinton
2RU: John Burroughs
3RU: Eisenhower
4RU: Marysville
5RU: Lawrence Central

BV: CG
BC: Clinton
BB: Clinton

CG gave the best two performance of the day, and in my opinion the best in the night show as well. Had the most precise, beautiful, appropriately choral vocals. JB was very close to them in this category, but I felt CG deserved the caption more. Clinton had the most clean, exciting, intense choreography and was the cleanest, therefore deserving of the caption. Personally not as impressed this year by the shows of Clinton and JB. Felt like they have both accomplished more with less in previous years, and have spoken to my personal taste and aesthetic more previously. I appreciate what JB is doing, but felt that their shows the previous two years, though still more of a performance piece than most other show choirs, reached the point better than this years show. I will say that I got chills at the very end of the show watching Alice "fall out of Wonderland" from the Queen of Hearts. I definitely felt the point here Eishenhower improved greatly from day to night and deserved this spot. Glad to see this choir still excelling at the national level. Marysville had two solid performances. But the night time show did not improve over the day show as much as the groups in front of them. Love the show, love the kids, loves the closer especially, always makes me want to dance LC thank you for performing and singing so beautifully. Happy to cross off another great show choir from my list.

Thank you to the Choraliers for putting on an amazing showcase of talent. I hope this continues in future years, and that the caliber of groups continues to come to the competition.

Sorry if this seems short or rude in any way, but my previous post was much more in depth and described my opinions much more thoroughly, but it was erased by the faulty forum. Thank you for letting me rant!!!

It is aggravating, however having sessions time out is an important safety feature. if you have a post that requires 25 minutes to type it would be beneficial to use a word processor and copy and paste the document in a reply.

Sorry if that's snarky sounding... Not intentional, but I'm TOTALLY not getting this whole English Language thing...
