Thoughts so far:

Wapak - Sorry missed my 7:20 AM alarm, but I rewound and enjoyed your performance. Certainly doing well with a brand new director and Shane gave y'all solid choreo. Definitely a GORGEOUS backdrop. Wow.

Fairfield Pure Elegance - You pushed boundaries with this show concept, not only for the show choir world but for society in general. Anyone who doesn't identify as a feminist is just silly.

Both Middle Schools did incredibly well! Shoutout to Coy and Fairfield MS for those lunch performances!

Sheridan - Nice work, Dallas! It all looked really clean and the kids had good energy.

Hoover - I wonder what Fairfield thought of your show? The tables and set and stuff were cool.

Walsh Jesuit - Where have you been? I feel like this performance came out of no where! Very cool stuff. The Big Bang Theory theme song as an opener and the cool rocket on set along with the other special effects. Nice! Erik did some cool stuff for y'all!

FYI not really commenting too in-depth. Doesn't seem fair given the live feed and timing issues. But I'm enjoying the performances so far! Thanks to Alex and other Marysville folks for hosting it! A live feed is better than no live feed! Although... I'm a bit nostalgic for Pink Curtains...

Looking forward to the rest of the afternoon performances!

Thank you! Super proud of them. Rough day, but it can only go up from here!

Loveland has been so impressive that past couple of years. Amazing to see how they have grown and started to really dominate Ohio. Great work!

I could say an endless amount of things after yesterday, but what a job by Beavercreek! After last year, a lot of people really doubted that they'd be back this year, but wow! The Clue-themed show is exciting and interesting the whole way through. I was very excited to see them make finals and get to see that show again.

And, of course, congrats to Loveland!

What an amazing day. I think the judges did an excellent job in finals. I love me some Fairfield. I appreciate their creative style, Fountain of Youth was jaw dropping, and I think Jeff Clark, April James, and Randy Sage are an incredible team (if there was a fantasy show choir league, I would draft them in a heartbeat...), but I think Loveland thoroughly earned that sweep. "By Request" was a machine tonight. Totally amazing and I loved every second of it. So much sound. So much excellent choreography! Congrats <3land!

Again, thanks to the Marysville team for the live feed. Undoubtedly there were audio issues and some timing problems, but at the end of the day a feed is better than no feed.

That Marysville host performance though. I'm in LOVE with the show this year. The vocals in the opener. That INCREDIBLE ballad. Everything about it! Nice way to cap off an outstanding Showcase!

Loveland is one of those groups that I could watch with the sound on mute and feel like a better person because of it.

I should clarify:

This isn't because their vocals are bad -- which they're not, they're gorgeous -- but it is because their choreography is just so freaking beautiful.

I agree with everything said here! Nicely put with Walsh Jesuit, Jeff. You guys came out of the woodworks. As for Loveland: I love you all. That's all I really have to say... You guys are proving more and more each year how big of a powerhouse of the Midwest you are. Fairfield; I saw your show at Central Crossing and just in those two weeks I saw such a huge improvement! Fountain of Youth as a concept is definitely one of my favorites you guys have done I'm liking your show more and more every time I get to watch. (Your main male soloist is great! He sounds like a doctor I might know ;)) Side note: Your ending gives me goosebumps. Truly incredible.

As for everyone else, I have been running around quite a bit today, so I missed a few groups. But from what I've seen around the school I can't imagine a greater group of kids to spend this day with! You're all so friendly and inviting! Everyone did great in their performances!

YAY SHOW CHOIR!
