This competition was blast!! I thought last year was awesome, but this year was so much smoother, even with the time... ;) Lawrence Central: You guys are utterly amazing. We've seen some really outstanding choirs this year, but i think it can honestly say that I enjoyed your show more than anyone I've seen this year. Your guys number is the best I have ever seen. Congratulations, you deserved it!! ~Hillary

Best Choreography, what's that all about.  When I was there it was all about voices, nice to see it might have gotten even better.  Good luck at North Central.

BELIEVE ME, it's still about voices at LC dry.gif . We were as surprised as anyone to get the Best Choreography caption.

Showquahh,

Thanks it sounds like a nice diverse panel, can you tell me the vocal(music) degrees of Barron and DeHart or did they just judge general effect.

Thanks again

Jim Barron- former director of Live Entertainment for Cedar Point
Deana DeHart- director of Live Entertainment for Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, VA
Sue Moninger- director of choral activities at Elmhurst College in Chicago; cofounder of show choir Camps of America
Jay Emrich- another former Live-E director from Cedar Point, former choral director at Mooresville; currently teaching voice in Indy
Pat Wiehe- director at North Central
Michelle Jensen- former choral director in CA; now teaching at USC (I think?)

They were a great panel!

Last year this contest wasn't that great. But this year, HUGE IMPROVEMENT! I loved it! I had so much fun being there. Even though we had to walk to Emmens Aud. from our room cuz we were in a seperate building it wasn't bad at all. We were still close enough that it was fun! I Loved being there this year. A great contest for my senior year! Hope I get to come back and watch it get even better over the years!
