Los Al's Spring Break is this week. They decided to compete on the weekend before as opposed to the weekend after, let alone both.

Anyone know why Los Al is not performing at Chula Vista next week?

I think the Tier I Advanced Mixed competition will be very interesting tonight! With Los Alamitos one competition away from an undefeated season and Burbank currently only losing to Waubonsie Valley "Sound Check" and Clinton "Attaché", this competition will be amazing tonight! And tonight will be the only time this season Sound FX and In Sync will go against each other! Looks to be exciting!

How are the tiers determined? Is it by size of the school or by the number of performers in the show choir?

On the west coast, Tier I and Tier II are determined by number of performers in the choir.

Tier I: 41+
Tier II: 40>

Tier III is the directors choice, I believe.

Yes, it most definitely will. Both Friday and Saturday will be live streamed, actually. Häakon is personally doing Burroughs Showcase so it'll be a pretty good quality. There will undoubtedly be links to the stream on the home page, posted here in the forum, and posted on the SCC social media accounts. So just sit back, relax, and enjoy some excellent shows this weekend.

Will Friday's schedule be posted?

I'm trying. I can't find information about three of the schools, so I guess we'll have to wait until I can speak with the directors personally. Requests to the committee have not been answered.

Does anyone have the Schedule for Friday night? Also, does any one know who is judging?

Does the host school perform in exhibition in Cali as they do in the Midwest? Coming to watch this competition and I would love to see John Burroughs live.

Not every host choir does, but Powerhouse performs both Friday and Saturday nights of Showcase.
If you're wanting to see advanced mixed, bet sure to get your tix early.

Very intriguing to see a Canadian choir venture down to Burbank, CA to compete! Should be very cool for everyone involved.
