Okay some of the captions I remember:

Best Male soloist: Jackson Prep (Ty Higganbothom?)
Best Female Soloist: Andover
Best Male Stage Presence: Andover
Best Female Stage Presence: Manchester (I feel like it was from the girls group?)
Best instrumentalist: Someone from Andover

It's been great having you here Andrew, and I certainly hope you come back in future seasons to share in all the fun even after you graduate!

As of right now I am headed to the University of Alabama for college; so, I definitely will be making the rounds to a bunch of competitions! But who knows what I'll be able to make with all the requirements for majors and to keep scholarships! Hahaha but I certainly will keep tabs on show choir!

I had a fantastic time meeting everyone and getting to compete today! In spite of the loss, it was a great way to end my show choir career... I'm going to wait until I graduate to make the feels trip to my profile to change my status to alumni! I love this community both as a whole and I love (almost without fail) everyone in the show choir community! This has had an enormous impact on my life and I thank y'all for the part you played in that! My only regret is that I didn't get on the site sooner!

Don't count it as a loss! Y'all were 1 group away from being in the National Finals--and as a Middle Mixed group, that's even more fantastic! It's great to see more groups growing in the south, and I'm sure in a few years, y'all will rock Large Mixed :D

And come back after graduating! I wasn't really active here until after my group stopped competing. So it's totally acceptable to still be obsessed with show choir in college

Quick question: Do groups get control of the light board at FAME qualifiers? I am wondering because I watched Andover's show (which is very cool btw) and they have a section fairly dependent on a blackout... I hope they get to do it cause its pretty cool! But I was just wondering how the regional rule gap regarding lighting is being bridged by fame... and any other odd regional rule differences and how they are addresses... (I'm all about the regional differences cause they are so interesting)

When we want they did lighting for us, there was I'm guessing a guy running the lights during our performance, but they do a really good job.

I agree with this except I think JP will get visuals and Manchester will get vocals.

I could totally see that about the Manchester and vocals thing... Just because the regional emphasis is different! More emphasis on choreo down here!

I think Jackson Prep will definitely win. They are phenomenal this year. They have really stepped up their game this year and they always leave it all on the stage. They are my absolute favorite show to watch.

I find it somewhat ironic that this competition went from one of the most stacked qualifiers last year to the smallest competition this year!
