GC: Johnston (BV, BC, BB)
1RU: ATSC
2RU: Totino
3RU: Bemidji
4RU: Bloomington Jeff
5RU: St. Francis

I could obviously also see ATSC take this one, maybe even sweep it. However, I really enjoy Johnston's show and feel that they are much cleaner and overall just better than they were last year. Havent seen ATSC yet this year but I'm sure they're just as strong as always. I don't really see Totino moving up, maybe actually being overtaken by Bemidji for 3rd.

Aww DANGIT! One placement and one caption off!
Anyways.... CONGRATULATIONS INNO! I knew this show really gave you guys the opportunity to show how talented this group of students is! I'm sure it was very tight between the top 3-4 groups, anyone have point spreads?

We are all set up and ready to host a great day of show choir tomorrow! We are very excited to see everyone! We have had a couple scheduling changes, however. Washburn "Fire and Ice" has had to pull out due to the weather. Also, we switched the TG "Testostertones" into the AA division - we missed that on the original schedule before it was sent out. It won't affect when they perform, just which division they are in!

^ at any rate, I think it would be AWESOME if Simply Irresistible made finals. There are no crossovers, but they still do a great job. Fantastic singing, as you can about imagine from any Westside group.

I think you are right. It started a few years ago cause Waconia prep had 4 crossover guys. I believe Hastings and totinos comps both started that rule then. When I choreographed Totino t-tones a few years back they had a lot of company of singers guys. I wonder if they are strictly just prep group guys now? If so that's amazing for numbers. Or maybe they are supposed to be in open class like Omaha girls. I've never seen Omaha girls but I've heard they are fantastic. Same as Mundelien girls who I believe are also made up of a percentage of the varsity group girls. Also very good.
But I fully support the no crossover rules. I also think in Iowa it's not allowed at all at any comp that I know of?!

I think some people make a bigger deal if they are a mixed gender group vs a single gender group.

Finals Predictions:
GC: Omaha Westside
1RU: Johnston
2RU: Totino Grace
3RU: Bemidji
4RU: Bloomington Jefferson
5RU: St. Francis

This competition is going to be super close with all of these groups. I feel like 1st-4th could literally go any way. I have a feeling Totino Grace could do very well this year, they're having a pretty good season so far!

Prediction: A very tight race between Johnston & Westside for the GC! It looks to be an exciting evening.

I agree! I think Westside will come out with the GC! They have a streak going with 2 wins in a row, they definitely won't go down without a fight!

I was trying to make a joke...

Sorry. You sounded upset with my "stupid autocratic censorship" and I misinterpreted. Just trying to provide an explanation.

I'm bummed I won't get to see you at Burbank this year (I'll be out of the country). It will be the first time I'm missing it since they started the event!
