There were no deductions, disqualifications, or penalties to ANY group despite rumors.
We're sorry this got so out of hand.

People's Choice- Fairfield mixed

Best Female Vocalist- Loveland
Best Male Vocalist- Bishop Leuers
Best Choral Sound- Edgewood

Best Technical Crew- Zionsville
Best Show Concept- Fairfield mixed
we left because the competition was fixed. one of the judges was the director for fairfield for like 32 years. the judges wanted to disqualify us because we had a synth. and its not against the rules to have one so i dont know why they took off a lot for that. and last of all we left because we didnt want to go to awards because we obviously knew we werent going to win because the judges just dont like us. and we will not be returning to that competition again.

No there weren't any caption awards in the finals and in the daytime there werent any class awards. The only class awards given out were 2nd runner up, 1st runner up, and grand champ.
ps. Ill find out who the judges were in just a sec
they gave out the top 3 placement awards for each class. and they had a ton of caption awards.

Does Anyone know the WHOLE STORY.......? I Think Not...A Great deal of controversy led to the departure of Twinsburg..... maybe you guys should ask a few more questions about what really happened.
Well it would sound as if you have a general idea of what happened..
If so, I'll never understand why people do this. If there was some sort of controversy, it would be great to know what it was, instead of playing this "I know something you don't know" stuff.
In ANY case, I never see a reason for a choir to walk out of awards. Even if you get "screwed" what is walking out actually accomplishing?

twinsburg had a HUGE pause inbetween their 1st and 2nd song.
apparently their ipod stopped working / therefore they had no band.
our rules state you can't use a recording- all music has to be played by high school musicians.
but instead of being disqualified, we deducted them
THATS why they placed so low.
and I could answer EVERYONES questions about everything, but so tired, so I'll answer a few.
-Edgewood BROUGHT it.
-Our choreo judge was NOT playing around.
-I love Fairfield.
