Don't forget, Jon Temple from Urbandale won best male soloist. Best female soloist was, I believe, from Waukee.

I believe the best female soloist was Taylor Else from Waukee "Millennium".

That is Jon Temple's second best male soloist award of the young season. Seems to me like this young man has a very good talent. Perhaps he got it from his father?

The scoring put Urbandale Vitality ahead of Norwalk. Norwalk had the first slot in finals so they were basically already going on when this all came down. The bad part is, many Vitality parents left after the daytime awards. Hopefully the kids were able to get a hold of their parents to come back.

Wow so did they announce that Spirit was in it then? I feel bad for those kids thinking they made finals if that's the case!

As far as I understand, all seven groups were invited to perform in finals.

There was a scoring error. Apparently Urbandale Vitality (prep) is actually in finals.

Isn't there always? They've been added to the finals schedule above.

It looks like this one has a later start and an early finish. I'm sure a lot of people will appreciate that. The Saturday schedule has been posted above and the middle school competition taking place on Friday has been posted on the Showzam Day One event.
