I want to so bad, but we have a big choir concert here at Millikin that evening. I might be able to make it for the day show, but that's about it.

THATS PERFECT! DAY SHOW WILL BE THE BEST TIME!

I'll take a stab at it

Predictions:

GC: Wheaton Warrenville sweep
1RU: Mt. Zion
2RU: Wheaton North
3RU: Decatur
4RU:Danville
5RU: Naperville North

Definitely could see Sullivan sneaking into finals and the bottom 4 changing around a bit, but this is definitely a battle between Wheaton and Mt. Zion.

I agree, but after seeing Danville this weekend, I would put Crete and Sullivan in finals over Danville and Naperville North.

I agree except id switch Wheaton North and Decatur. Wheatom North is FANTASTIC this year but I feel Decatur will edge them! This one should be good!

Well I'll take a stab at it.
Finalists IAO
Mt. Zion
Wheaton
Decatur
Danville
Wheaton North
Sullivan

I personally haven't seen Naperville, but I could see Crete or Naperville trying to sneak in there. It will be a beautiful battle! I wish I could be there to see it!

Thank you, Mary, for the clarification - that was really helpful. The Saturday schedule has been added above and the Friday middle school schedule has been added to "The Event" (Day One) page. If anything changes in the next month, just let us know!

It looks like this should be an exciting show down! I'm looking forward to seeing how Wheaton North and Naperville North place. NN is newer to the competitive circuit and already has a GC under their belt this year and WN has placed well too. So it should be interesting to see how they stack up against the "traditional" Illinois powerhouses.

For the Junior High they are all one division. Trophies will be given for Grand Champion -5th runner up. There will also be best vocals, best choreography. There is also a junior high solo competition. There will be a best male and female soloist selected from that.
For the High School due to some schools scheduling a girls group is during the open division.
Single-Gender has 5 girls groups and they will be be awarded grand champion- 4th runner up, with best vocals, best choreography and best combo.
Class A has 3 groups. will receive 1st - 3rd placement
Eisenhower Express Blue Island begins the 1st open class school with the top 6 schools for the day will be in finals.
There is a High School Solo competition during the day that will also receive best male and female soloist.
Best combo will be given during the day. Best Choreography and Best Vocals from the finals.
High Heeled Harmony from Naperville North is a Single-Gender group.
Hope that makes sense
Mama G

Haha - I am NOT full of information for you today - I know there are divisions Saturday, but the schedule sent out to directors did not include them. Not sure about Friday. Les Femmes-Esprit + High Heeled Harmony are all girls, then there is a festival/small school division and open class division - but I'm not sure where the dividing line is between the two.

Thanks for the schedule with times. Do you perhaps know the class divisions? For example, are ALL of the middle schools in one division for Friday? On Saturday, is the division at the BREAK, as in everything before is the prep/Tier II division while everything after the BREAK is advanced mixed/Tier I (with the exception of NN "HHH" at 3:15)? Clarification would be appreciated so it can accurately be posted above!

not that we've seen yet. Based on the list of directors the emails go out to its gonna be a great line-up though. I don't want to say anything until its released in case there are directors on that list not bringing groups there.
