I just watched the Shepherd Hill "Fantasy" Olympus-themed show. And I really enjoyed it from an entertainment point of view. I really liked the repertoire, too. It was so unusual for show choir. Apparently whoever arranged the show really likes Fall Out Boy's new album. Which is cool, because I do too. I was also thrilled to see a song by The Used in the show! The songs fit incredibly well with the show/story, so props on that. From the costuming, to set design, it was pretty cool.
Definitely a show worth seeing in person for folks attending the ESCF!
thank you very much. we had a good time performing this show this year
Also, does anyone know if the girl said yes to the promposal? ( for anyone who didn't see, a boy made a donation to Waltham show choir to have the mc read his letter asking a girl to prom. )

In the Varsity Division Beth Faria from Joseph Case High School won best female vocalist.
Also, it was a shame that they cancelled the night showcase, but the last group performed about 2 1/2 hours late and a very high number of students started getting sick and passing out. I know the majority of it was probably students not eating because they were too nervous or to excited to see the next show they wouldn't take a few minutes to leave the auditorium to grab a snack.
Cool, thanks for the results everyone! It's all been posted above now.
Shame that finals was cancelled. I guess those awkward time slots didn't end up working out... Would've been a cool showcase of Indiana, California, Virginia, and Massachusetts. Nevertheless, I'm sure this was still a fun and unique competition for all that attended.

Just to clarify, as I think the verbiage might be different; is the evening showcase a finals competition, as is normal in the Midwest, or is it a showcase that isn't scored? Thanks! Excited my hometown DeKalb is making the trek east!
Lol, It is just like Finals now. Originally when signing up I was told is was just a Showcase not a "Finals" but apparently it is now just like Finals. Best Vocals/Choreo/Show given during night round.
