Just to clarify, as I think the verbiage might be different; is the evening showcase a finals competition, as is normal in the Midwest, or is it a showcase that isn't scored? Thanks! Excited my hometown DeKalb is making the trek east!
I'm with Hanover and even though our stage crew is rather exceptional, there's no way they are gonna load in, do the show and then load out with riser configuration/set and all in only 20 minutes when everyone around them has 25... Just wanted to give you the heads up, we're a pretty big group and am all about time limits, just fair ones =-.)
Sweet, thanks for the quick response! So many of these Northeastern schools aren't well represented on here, so it's difficult for us to know what type of choir they're putting on stage year in and year out. So definitely appreciate your response. It's been updated in our database.
To answer your questions.... here are the answers.
Tantasqua "Radiance" is listed in the varsity division, but they are all female.
A: Yes, this group has the choice of being in either Varsity or SS Champion. They chose Varsity...
In the single-gender division, Mercy "Choralations" and South Hadley "Adrenaline" are listed as competing. Traditionally in our database, we have had both of those choirs listed as mixed groups. Are they in fact women's choirs this year?
A: Yes, the information given to us by the directors of the choirs is that they are SS this year.
Other than that, some of the performance times seemed a bit strange. Some groups within the same division have different amount of times between performances…so I just wanted to confirm the times listed are what the ESCF is going by.
A: Yes, these are the times we are going by. We asked the directors how long their show was...
Ok so I have posted the Saturday schedule above, but I have a couple clarifying questions.
Tantasqua "Radiance" is listed in the varsity division, but it was mentioned in the Nutmeg Festival topic that "Radiance" is a women's group. So was that incorrect and they're actually the lower level mixed group at Tantasqua? Or as a women's group, they're just choosing to compete in the Varsity division here?

Other than that, some of the performance times seemed a bit strange. Some groups within the same division have different amount of times between performances (Lowell "Sound Impressions" has a 25-minute slot while Somerset "Electrify" has a 20-minute slot) and same for a couple other choirs…so I just wanted to confirm the times listed are what the ESCF is going by.
I can say that Bonita Vista is very excited to be making the trek from California to this competition. One quick question though, do you know how many finalists they are having for the Finals Competition in the Evening? Thanks!

Any news on what show choirs are attending? Daniel Hand Vibe will not be attending this year. I herd that Dekald Classic Connection from the Midwest is coming out to New England to compete! That's awesome.
