does anyone know how the judging system/scoring works here? Is it like by points, or is it by like majority rules? Just wondering because I know at the Davenport competitions they do it by majority rules? Also are there finals at this competition? If so when/where are they, and how many groups make it into finals??

Just want to point out that the Danville middle school show choir that performed tonight is the best ms show choir I've ever seen! I haven't had that much fun watching a show in a long time. BRAVO!!!! See them if you can. They are amazing!!

Agreed, except I'd probably flip Eisenhower and Mt. Zion.

I'm hoping Buffalo Grove can pull this one out. I was very pleasantly surprised with the group at DeKalb. They are quickly flourishing under new direction, and their singing was a joy to listen to.

Since when have they been consecutively hosting? I know BG were the first hosts

I know that when ATSC went to the very first Nationals (2002?) Clinton was the host group. They even dropped a giant American flag behind then during their show.

How do these "Blocks" work? Do a certain number from each make finals?

I don't see a performance time for them so I was wondering if maybe they couldn't make the trip this year for whatever reason.

If you look on the Show Choir Nationals website-- at the bottom, it says "Clinton Attache will perform their 2009 Competition Show prior to awards..."
