I had so much fun at this competition! Everyone did such an amazing job, I really loved the group that did that whole broadway-jazz show. (Sorry I dont remember names!!!)
I also really loved Grand River Singer's AMAZING red polka dot dresses. At least I think they were polka dot. I was in the back. But they were AMAZING!!!! :D
Great job everyone!!!

Hello Boys and Girls,
Just wanted to let you know that results and scores will be posted on the Grand River Singers website later today or tomorrow. Rob and Tim offered to just put the Excel spreadsheet on the website instead of giving me writers crap (thanks). Again, we want to thank everyone for a great weekend and we hope to see everyone next year.

how did you think the results should have went?

I would've put it as...

GC: RIG/Sound
1RU: RIG/Sound
2RU: Waconia
3RU: Jefferson
4RU: Wahlert
5RU: Onalaska

I can't even pick who I liked more between Kennedy and Mundelein. Both shows were amazing.

I also really thought that Sauk Prairie deserved to make finals over Onalaska.

This was a great competition, for many reasons. The one thing I really like is the venue. It is really great. There is a lot to do around the area, and it is very easy for groups to travel around for food or shopping or other entertainment if they need to step away from the competition for a bit. It was great to step outside and see various show choirs and their members walking around, having fun. It was sooo nice out.. and it was just a great atmosphere!

I loved the variety of choirs that were there as well, I had never gotten to see Mundelein or Omaha, so it was a great experience! I really enjoyed Sounds show, it was very entertaining. Our hosts were great, waffle fries were yummy, and I kinda liked the fact that all the choirs were so close together upstairs - it was a good environment to meet people from other choirs and have a good time!

This was a fantastic time!

Congrats to Westside High school's women's show choir! GO SI! The group, Lights, is also a pretty amazing group. There are so many girls! (i think around 50!) SI only has about 38 singers. SI kept up with "Lights" though. We were only 3 points from first and 6 points away from finals.

In all, it was a great competition and it was fun to visit Lacrosse, WI!
