our prep choir does not know what place they got because the director refuses to tell them.
but i really wanna know how they finished, can anyone tell me they pre lim placings for prep.

Rob usually post all the scores on here... well he atleast did it last year for varsity so everyone could see the breakdown of points

It is judged by all of our staff for the day from Ticket Booth to Door Monitors and Hosts to Judges and our Emcee to Backstage crew. It not only judges the Students but also the Parents and Supporters and their actions and conduct. Yesterday on stage I called it our "People Skills" Award.

lol thanks for explaining it... i tired to remember how you said it on stage hahaha

Is the "Spirit of Grand River" kind of the equivalent to the "FAME Award"? ;)

Just wanted to say CONGRATS to all groups that performed this weekend. I had so much fun and I hope that all groups and spectators enjoyed themselves also. Grand River Singers hopes to see all of you back next year on the 19th and 20th of March.

after finals my predictions were kinda a long
GC:Mundelein "Sound" both vocals and choreo
1RU:Waconia "Power Station"
2RU:Bloomington Kennedy
3RU:Bloomington Jefferson
4RUnalaska
5RU:Dubuque Wahlert

My opinion means nothing im just an idiot on a computer

Mundelein-First of all congrats on the win. second the opening part with all the musicals was so awesome i loved it. Your Choreo was the cleanest ive seen since my sophmore year and i was amazed!!

Bloomington Kennedy- You set the Tone on what was going down by performing first in finals. I really think that your closing numbers were very cool and unique with the umbrellas. I like how they were all together and very clean.

Onalaska- Congrats you guys have finally pulled off a show that you can be very proud of its just to bad it came so late. I really didnt like your show when i watched it at holmen but when i saw it tonight i thought wow they really mustve worked their tails of for this competition

IM tooooooooooo tired to type anymore sorry

its "Power COMPANY" Brock. lol

so dang. long long loooooong day. since 930 this morning, i have been filling my brain with show choir. fun stuff. unfortunately, i didnt get to see mundelein's girls but from what i heard, great job ladies!! other than that, it was a super fun day with tons of great show choir.

Josh Sanders sounded amazing on his competition solo and congrats to the female and duet winners also. You all sounded great.

my predictions before final announcements were:::
GC: Mundelein BV BC
1RU: Kennedy
2RU: Waconia
3RU: Jefferson
4RU: Onalaska
5RU: Dubuque Wahlert

obviously, we can see that i was wrong but all the groups were so good that it was very very close between most of them (in my predictions). but yea. Congrats to everyone, especially Mundelein "Sound". It was the first time I had seen you guys EVER and holy crap. Awesome job!

Great job Ona!!! I was rootin' for ya the whole day! Great way to end the season!

Yes... but its not just about the kids and its also about the parents and the groups attitudes towards hosts, volunteers, spectators, and competitors
