GC:Colerain
1RU:zionsville
2RU:Marysville/beavercreek
3RU:beavercreek/Marysville
4RU:Donelson Christian
5RU:Edgewood
BV:Colerain
BC:Zionsville
BB:Colerain
I really think people are underestimating just exactly what Colerain can do this year they have an amazing show! I've been to a lot of competitions this season and have seen all the choirs I just listed so I believe Colerain can take it all with good soloists, vocals and a show you will not forget. And no I am NOT an alumni of the Colerain show cards I just believe they have a really good show this year and can take it all. Also Marysville and Beavercreek have good shows so either one could place for 2RU or 3RU.
Idk i think Donelson Christian is definitely gonna do really well here I feel they have been having a pretty good season down south so my predictions are.
GC(really close I think): Zionsville (BV)
1stRU: Marysville (BC/BB)
2ndRU: Colerain
3rdRU:Donelson Christian
4thRU: Beavercreek
5thRU: Edgewood
I think that's probably a solid guess. Either that or it was completely random. It simply just makes no sense to me. First, Ohio divides competitions into A/B/C based on the arbitrary school size classification. Second, there is no need to divide schools into A/B/C since all are judged the same and eligible for finals. Third, if you're going to go the route of having arbitrary divisions at least schedule them during the same chunk of time.
I mean what's the point of the different divisions if Marysville performs at 9:30 AM and their "class" competitor Beavercreek performs as the last show choir of the day at 5:15 PM. Or even Millersport starting the day off at 7:30 AM while Cory-Rawson performs at 4:15 PM.
I just don't get the point of any of it. Ohio...
edit: apparently Ben edited his post as I was responding. To clarify since my post now seems bizarre, I was responding about how performance order was decided.
I posted my performance order question in the wrong forum lol. That's why I edited it haha. BUT your reply answered my question haha thanks!
I see it being either Marysville or Zionsville and whatever happens will be extremely close!

I was thinking the same thing, a big dog choir like Marysville going on this earlier could be harmful in points and possibly energy with how early they go on, and probably how early their day will start.
This competition is reminding me of Grove City last year. We went at 11am.
I wonder if a 9:30am time slot will impact results for Marysville

I saw Zionsville's show on Youtube, so that isn't a perfect representation of how good they are, but I think Marysville is going to sweep this. Marysville is just so good this year, and I think they deserve this one especially from what I saw from that show.
