I don't know... the playing field looks pretty open this year.

There are a tooon of choirs coming tomorrow. We have Jazz, Girls Chamber, Mixed Chamber, and Acapella coming, and a lot of schools are bringing choirs they have never brought before and acapella gropus that are new after all of the boys show choirs were eliminated last year.

As far as show choirs, at competitions this year, the results haven't been consistent at all, so I really don't see any group or groups that have the advantage. There hasn't been a single group that has "swept" a competition, so I don't see any favorites coming into it.

Last year, If I remember correctly, the judges only gave out a few superiors, so idk how that will play out this year.

This is going to be one of those exciting years where there isn't really a favorite coming into it.

Sing.Chronicity... really? Now I def wasn't a fan of Showstoppers, but really?

I've already decided if I break my leg and end up teachin show choir one day, I was gonna steal the name Simply Irresistible for my girls. Yea, I said it, STEAL. =-.)

All Virginia groups this year, should be good!

I am VERY excited for this competition!! Even though this will be the last time I ever compete, I think it is going to be a great weekend!
Cosby High School is bringing a choir to each day of the competition. This will be the first time our Mixed Chamber Ensemble will be competing, so we are also excited for that!
Cant wait to see all the groups perform again!

I saw your girls group last year at Kecoughtan and they were really solid.

You can count on them to do something current (they do Christina Aguilera a lot lol) with some really great costumes and really shart choreography (their choral director choreograph shows down here a lot).

It'd going to be so refreshing to actually just watch all the groups this year instead of having to perform on saturday night after having be nthere all weekend.

i hope they don't have shart chorography.
that'd be nasty.

yeah, carlos does dale and lee-davis.

what's there name now?

haha. yeah ryan. ballin' the jack.
kinda lame. lol.
