Mrs. Brummer came to College Community Schools in 2000 where she is the Director of Choirs at Prairie High School. She previously taught in the Clear Creek Amana School District as Talented and Gifted Coordinator and Choral Music Director from 1990-2000. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education from Missouri Western University and a MA of Music Education from The University of Iowa.
At Prairie, Mrs. Brummer co-directs Concert Choir, Concert Chorale, and Chamber Choir and assists with the show choirs, The Ambassadors and Focal Point. She also coordinates the Iowa All-State Choir audition process and the private voice studios at PHS.
