Mrs. Ross, affectionately known by her students as Ms. DJ, is a new member of the CLA family. The 2015-16 school year promises to be filled with lots of growth, hard work and fun. I am excited to teach music to the scholars of this great school!
Ms. DJ earned her Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of Dayton. She hails from Dayton, Ohio where she taught musicianship (beginning piano/music) for five years. More than 500 middle school and high school students learned how to play piano and read music under her tutelage. A performer in her own right, Ms. DJ has played piano for 23 years, played violin for 12 years, played in a collegiate percussion ensemble & indoor drumline and has been singing her whole life.
With a myriad of talents, experiences and quality education, it is with great pleasure that I share my love of music with the students this school year.
