So I'm seeing by the count of winning choirs this year, about 4 choirs that won't make finals that would win most other competitions. Anyone want to try a guess at finals and placements? ...I don't

One of the most fun competitions I've ever judged was last year at Wheaton! First rate all the way, from the parents to the kids to the facility. Judges were treated like celebrities (though we most definitely didn't deserve it!) Just a fun, classy group of folks running this thing from all angles, and I'm sure it'll be a home run again!!

Great competition, it's in the gym, concert choirs perform in the auditorium. Food is amazing, they have anything from subway to chic-fil-a to mcdonalds there...and seating is your usual gym seating with seats on the floor. but there is a raffle during the day and the winner gets to sit in a couch that they place in the stands for finals, so there's that...but overall a well-run competition, live feeds outside the gym on like 139387598643928 tvs...oh and they have starbucks stuff sometimes and smoothies. its pretty legit.

Thanks so much for the info! It sounds great

This is definitely the competition I'm looking forward to most! Most of these groups I've never seen live so I'm really excited!

This looks like it's going to be an epic bloodbath. I think I might come! I've never been to this comp, so can anyone tell me what the venue is like?

Gymatorium/Auditorium?
Comfy seats for parking it the whole day?
What's the food like?

The ticket price is pretty good for a student pass all day, so that's pretty sweet.

Any and all information is greatly appreciated. THANKS!!

I think the AM/PM things are mixed up, or we actually perform at 1:35 in the morning.

Didn't work for me either, but if you look at the top of the page with the events it has the times listed for each group in order

The link works if you remove the %20 in the address bar. Haakon's program replaces show choir (one word) with show choir (two words) even in links. (as it will do when I post this response.) %20 is used to fill spaces in web addresses. I HAAATE that auto-correct feature!!

Anybody have a schedule for this competition yet? So far every group I have seen that is attending has won at least one grand champion or gotten multiple 2nd place finishes. It is going to be a crazy good competition.
